January Art Classes
All January classes are now full. Bookings are now being taken for the Spring term!
Tuesday evening course 7.00 -9.30 starting January the 19th
Wednesday morning course 10.00 -12.30 starting January 20th
And a new Monday evening course under the guidance of professional artist Anne O Bynre. 7.00- 9.30 starting January 18th
All courses cost €140 per term. Class sizes are extremely low, so you are guaranteed a lot of individual attention.
Tuition can be given at a Beginner, intermediate or advanced level in Acrylics and Oils. Portfolio preparation, Watercolours, Drawing, Printmaking, Portraits, Landscapes and Still Life, Field sketching and painting.
Anne O’Byrne was born in Cork City. She studied at the Limerick School of Art & Design and She completed her BA in Fine Art in GMIT Galway in 2005, specialising in painting. She resides in Newcastle in Galway and has been a Guest Artist with Artspace Studios for many years. She has exhibited extensively in Galway city including a two man Show called “ Uncertain Ground” with Jennifer Cunningham as part of the Tuam arts festival.
Jennifer Cunningham is a professional artist who paints in oils, acrylic and watercolour. She is also a printmaker and is a member of the Blackchurch studio. She graduated with a first class honours degree from GMIT in 2002 She has recently completed a Masters in fine art from N.C.A.D in Dublin. She has won several awards for her work including the Henry Higgins Traveling Scholarship and the Taylor art award. She exhibits nationally and internationally and her work is in several public collections including the OPW and ESB .
